  1. "My White Devil" is the coda to a dyad of songs that even casual fans of Echo and the Bunnymen may have heard somewhere along the line, "The Cutter", with the heavy thrum of its lockstep orchestration, and the arpeggiated, heavily-rhythmic, faux-funk workout driving "The Back of Love", both collected on their first greatest hits package "Songs To Learn And Sing", which also includes the rhythmically /5(63).
  2. Porcupine is the third studio album by the English post-punk band Echo & the Bunnymen. First released on 4 February , it became the band's highest charting release when it reached number two on the UK Albums Chart despite initially receiving poor Post-punk, neo-psychedelia.

  7. Mar 02,  · I immediately purchased Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here and never looked back. While Porcupine isn't my favorite, I still adore it and play it often. My White Devil and Ripeness are really fantastic cuts. Agreed with the comments regarding the album cover shot - I think the Bunnymen had some of the best album covers (at least through Ocean Rain).
